I ordered wigs a couple of times from this company and until, I received a notice from my bank telling me an unauthorized charge had gone through my bank. I had to cancel my credit card and I'm now going through redoing all of my transactions with other honest companies!
The suspicious thing about talking with one of their customer service support reps, asked me, do I ever ship items to another address...I said NO! If you deal with this company, you know, you immediately get an email confirming your purchase. I never received an email! Or a shipping notice!
When I spoke with the rep, I told her it sounds like someone at your company ordered themselves a wig on my credit card! DEAD SILENCE!
I was a very good customer! Not now! So bottom line! THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES! And not very good at it! My bank took good care of me!

Purchased 1 wig sometime late last year and never received the wig I purchased for my grandmother. I called and they could find no record of my purchase but yet I got a confirmation email and the most recent email (today, 4/23/2022) saying that they hope I enjoyed my purchase and to review the wig with a picture of it. I don’t understand what type of company this is. I call for information after a month of not receiving anything and no information is given to me on what I ordered (they couldn’t even find my purchase through the confirmation number I was emailed after I placed the order) they said they would call me back when they figure it out but the customer service lady was about to hang up so I asked her how she planned to contact me when they didn’t have any record of my purchase or asked for my phone number or even email. Needless to say, truly terrible “customer” service. Will not be ordering or recommending this place to anyone.

My mother has ordered her wigs for years from The Wig Company and has always been satisfied. After years of my hair getting thinner and thinner I finally decided to get my own. I love both the wigs I ordered. I have a new found confidence and always receive compliments on my hair.

I french braid my longer wig frequently and the wig always resets it's curl after being washed gently per instructions.

I wouldn't dream of getting a wig from anywhere else. Thank you! ❤

Ordered a wig on 2-22-19 to wear on vacation. (I’ve had chemo therapy.) It arrived 17 days later (03-11)while I was gone. I had 14 days to return the wig so sent it back priority mail when I returned on 3-18-19 and was guaranteed by the USPO it would be there by the 20th. I did call the company before I sent it to ask if they furnished shipping labels online. I was told to just send it to the address on the invoice which I did. YESTERDAY, it was back in my mail unopened marked Refused...Return to sender. I have tried several times to call the company but “my number cannot be completed as dialed!!!” Now What!!!

My mom ordered a wig back in January 2019. Never received so requested to have my money returned. Was told the company was under a new owner and that a check would be issued. Never received the check so I continually called. It was then explained "only one check is issued per month". The poor woman has lost her husband my father and this is continuing to be another burden. I feel like I need to call Consumer Affairs.

To be safe, I ordered a Raquel Welch wig in the same style and size (just a different color) as a wig I already owned and enjoyed. Apparently, I was sent a used, cut, frizzed wig and was rudely told I must return it and be charged a 25% restocking fee. My complaints went on deaf ears when I explained that I was sent a wig that had obviously been cut and probably exposed to heat which caused frizzing at the crown. There was barely enough hair left for bangs or to cover the cap on top. Complaint has now been filed with my credit card company to settle the matter. BBB has tons of complaints against this company . Beware!

I received from The Wig Company two wigs that were not what I ordered. I sent the wigs back and they refused to refund my money or give me different wigs. The wigs they sent me were in the right boxes but completely different than what was supposed to be in the box. They said that they looked like they had been worn. One wig was put on once and it was too big- it fell down past my eyes. The other was never put on it all because it was clearly the wrong one. They refused to send me money back or give me the wigs that I actually ordered. There are several complaints from this company on Google reviews and they are all the same things I experienced. Do not deal with this company. I lost $98 from them.

March, 2018. I've ordered from these people for several years. This last one was a fiasco. Right box, WRONG COLOR. If someone can explain to me how a gray wig is red, I'd like to know how that works. Contacting the company was a nightmare. Every email was denied and phoning them....put on hold for 20 minutes and disconnected. When I FINALLY got a "live person", they were in another country and I caught about 1/3rd of what she was saying before I was cut off again....UGH!!!! I am in a dispute as I had this removed from my credit card. I called the credit card company and guess what They can't get a hold of them either. I want this REMOVED from my card or I want an RMA # to send this back on their dime......still waiting.....another UGH!!!!!

Today is August 6th, 2018. I had my credit card company on the phone with The Wig Company. We went through 8, yes I said 8 reps and got misleading information from each of them. Amazing how this company stays in business. This had been going on since March when they sent an 8/12 (red, brown) in a box marked SF51/60 (gray), the color that was ordered. The label for return on the receipt was missing, so return this how? That also tells me the wig was returned and put into the wrong box for shipping. Thanks to the credit card company, this is being returned tomorrow for either the proper wig or a full refund plus shipping. I'm 71 and taking care of both my mother and mother in law (who the wig was for) and the last thing I needed was this kind of aggravation. Trust me when I tell you after reading other reviews, I'm taking pictures of everything from the box to the wig before it ships out.

I'm finding out that The Wig Company, Paula Young and Especially Yours are owned by the Decarlucci family. Wake up ladies. This is no way to treat your long term customers, and by the way, it's UNETHICAL to leave reviews for yourself!!!!!
