Andrew is an awesome human who makes great food and even better beer. Great atmosphere. He did all of the remodeling himself, and he's in the process of finishing it. Awesome small business. Safe spot. Just visiting town, but I'll be back!!

The Chicken sandwiches were absolutely delicious! Chatted with a local that was there and the gentleman behind the counter was knowledgeable and chatty when he wasn’t cooking our food. We also had their “Mothership” wild ale, very well done beer for the style. My spouse states on Untappd: Lightly fruity flavor that hang outs, finishes with very timid yeast. Easily session-able in hot weather.

Stopped in while traveling through and the atmosphere is pretty cool. Converted fire house that is open and inviting with outdoor seating and bar games. Limited hours of operation. The beer is only so-so. Nothing really grabbed my attention though. Service was ok. Not sure if I'll stop by again next time I'm traveling through. Hopefully beer and service improves.

Tasty neighborhood brewery in a cool old car bay. Beers are reasonably priced. Make sure to sit on the American flag couch!

Had a few beers here over the holidays and enjoyed chatting with the founder Rich and his son Andrew. Very friendly and lots of passion and excitement about the future of the Burns area as a growing hub for adventure in this beautiful area of our state. And the beer was good too! Looking forward to our next visit.

Over the recent Memorial Day Weekend I was birding in Harney County, Oregon and I had the opportunity to try my second and third offerings from this wonderful "nano brewery." I live in Portland, Oregon, land of hop crazy brewmasters. Locally-brewed IPAs tend to too bitter for my taste. When I went into the Frenchglen Hotel, one of the few outlets where one can find Steens Mountain Brewing beers, I found that they had two–the Lone Pine American IPA and the Basque Amber Ale. I bought one of each, which I shared with my wife over the next two days. We had the Amber Ale first. It was more richly-colored and full-bodied than I expected, a pleasant surprise. The aftertaste was quite pleasing with none of the lingering bitterness of overly-hopped Portland brews. Not being a fan of IPAs, I had some trepidation when we uncapped the American IPA. It was exquisite. It was more crisp and tangy than the Amber Ale and I liked it more than the Amber Ale. The color was in a word, spectacular, with taste to match.

Stopped in for a cold beer and a bite to eat. The beer was cold and delicious and my Hoosier sandwich was very good. There is outdoor seating with a nice green lawn and some lovely old shade trees. We will definitely be back!
