First of all, apparently the “regular” amount of dressing is subjective as it varies location to location / depends highly upon who is preparing your salad. I always request regular. One time, I received a heavy amount of dressing, another time it was just right, and this time it barely had any in it. Also, despite paying extra for protein, there were maybe 5 or 6 pieces total. Additionally, I see absolutely no reason to have a surveillance camera directly above the dining area. I do not plan on returning to this location or the other on Wilson Blvd as it has a similar setup. I prefer other locations where you watch and communicate with them as they prepare the salads. I can then take my accurately prepared salad to-go so as to not be filmed while I am simply trying to eat.

BALLSTON location- I think they mop the floors with Bleu Cheese dressing bc it smells like vomit ? the recent times I’ve been.

The salad was bleh. They don’t give receipts to verify the order so ask for it bc I DONT TRUST the salad makers. Always cross check your order. Humans make mistakes that’s ok it happens but when one is hangry it’s not going to be a fairytale ending ⭐️SO CROSS CHECK!!!

I would never go again and if one gifted me a plastic gift card from this place I’d probably use it to scrap food from dishes when cleaning bc I wouldn’t even give it away to anyone or homeless folks maybe to rabbits ?

Very good salad options for an unfortunately horrible price. This place has a variety of options and everything tastes great. Service was quick and the restaurant was very clean. Unfortunately, the prices are unbelievably bad. I paid $21 for a salad and a tiny piece of bread. I'm pretty sure every other restaurant in the immediate area has cheaper options for more substantial meals. If the price was better, I'd recommend this place, but with how expensive it is I really can't see any reason to go here unless you were given a gift card or something.

I order here all the time. The salads are amazing and when ordering on the app it's very quick and almost always ready when I come to pick it up. When ordering delivery I've had a couple of slight mix ups but the store has always made it right. Chopt is a great fast and healthy option for a meal.

I ordered delivery as they had a deal going for free delivery! I believe it continues until Dec 19th, 2022. I ordered a kale chicken caesar salad. When the bowl arrived I was surprised at its size. For $12, I expected a large heavily topped salad. Unfortunately there were minimal toppings and the dressing to greens ratio was lacking. The taste was good though! I would try this place out again, but would likely go in person to ensure adequate amount of dressings and toppings are placed. They appear to be mixing the toppings in to hide the small amount they are putting. I felt most bites were kale and lettuce only which are the cheapest part of a salad and not worth the price tag. Additionally, they provide bread as a side option. I ended up throwing it away as it was tough and soured tasting as well as being very very small in portion.

The self-service kiosk seems convenient, but cannot scan the app QR code. At other locations, I always order with a human and they scan QR code, so I pay with the app collecting my points.

Here, not seeing any cashier, I asked an employee “how do I order” and I was told to use the kiosk. Ok…so, I finished inputting what I wanted to order, then I scanned the QR code, the machine beeb recognized the scan, but it went back to the previous screen. I tried a few times.
Then, I asked an employee, I scanned my QR code, but….he said “oh…you have to order with the app”
In, as much as, I love Chopt, I just walked away and went to the next door, instead.

Noted that the employee was nice and polite, but he’s busy with prepping the salad, so he didn’t have time to say more than he did in the beginning.

If you want customers to use the machine in place of having employees to take orders, please make a clear sign that the machine cannot scan the QR code.

I like the salads I’ve tried, but the atmosphere inside is not great. It often smells really bad, and the tables aren’t always clean either. I think it’s reasonably priced for the portions and a nice healthy takeout option! Just wouldn’t dine in again!

Best Chopt location I ever been to. My food is always ready on time when I order pick up food always Taste fresh to Perfection. I’m always greeted warmly when I walk in and the staff have the willingness to help.
