LOVE the boat feel! If I lived closer, I would be here frequently. The Growler box is an amazing deal. Friendly staff, awesome interior makes you feel like you are on a boat everywhere you turn.

We are right around the corner of the Boathouse Brothers Brewing Company in Prior Lake and we're delighted that we are! We had heard great things about their beer and atmosphere and so we had to give it a try right away. We weren't disappointed! The space is inviting and has an open, sunlit feel. The pontoon boat seating makes it feel like you're really on the lake and adds an extra touch of fun. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. To top it off, they often have a food truck outside that makes the experience even better! We highly recommend Boathouse Brothers Brewing Company for a fun and unique experience. Greet beer and great people - definitely a winning combo!

Its June 1 on a calm sunny late saturday afternoon. Rivera food truck is out front and the brewery front doors are wide open. Beer is flowing and the laughter is contagious ?. Life is good on land!

This taproom has fabulous ambiance. It is well decorated, well thought out, has ample space and family friendly. Service was friendly and prompt. The reason for 2 stars is that the beer (with the exception of the hefeweizen and possibly the oatmeal stout) is incredibly poor. One beer (the 771 epa) was a pour out (literally awful beer that should not be served). Out of any taproom, it's about the poorest beer I've had (I tried 10 out of the 12 on tap). If you're a craft brewery, you should have excellent beer. This place does not. With that said, taproom like Indeed and Urban Growler started off with inferior beer and greatly redeemed themselves. I'm hoping Boathouse does the same.

There could be better snacks available, although the sausage was good and there was a food truck present. Popcorn would be a good addition.

Prices were in line with what you'd expect.

I will return in the future, but the beer really needs to improve.

Soon after they opened I gave them a quick call asking if there was a food truck available... We were starving yet didn't want to give up our mini "South of the River Brew Pub Crawl"...
Yay! They actually did have a great food truck parked out front!

Its a fun place, a great lakeside feel, it's well thought out, clean and hospitable! Belly up to the bar, it's created to look like a dock with blue lighting underneath to make it seem like there's water below. Or grab a seat at a nearby counter that uses garage doors to open up when the weather's nice allowing you to watch the foot traffic on Main Street!

We even got a mini tour of the place on a busy night by the owner himself! Enjoyed listening to his plans for the future while sipping on some really good beer...
Did I mention the beer?! There's quite a few to choose from! I think you're sure to find something your taste buds will enjoy! They're still tweaking some of their brews so be sure to ask for a small taste if you're not sure you want a pint or get a flight and go from there.

Boathouse is such a great local brewery. They have food trucks almost every night of the week. They have a large variety of beer and everyone that i have tried is really good!
