Usually good, but had a really bad experience tonight.

1) no management, just a bunch of kids. this was an issue in that they were busy and had a takeout backlog with everyone in the lobby waiting. the back would just stack them in the front but that young kid was too busy so they essentially piled up there, then the young kid took a break. finally after 5-10 mins of this I went up and mentioned they have a lot of people in the lobby waiting for to go orders and maybe they should call out the names…wouldn’t you know everyone was there

2) regarding the order, I got three med pepperonis with extra cheese and easy on the sauce ($50). There is hardly any cheese and a lot of sauce.

Other things I noticed, no one dedicated to phone. Was common for someone to go to the front only to tell them to hold while they answered the phone in front of them.

Management, please ensure you have someone there on Saturdays that can handle a rush + ensure the quality of your product. The young kid up front is nice, but maybe advise someone else to come up front during rushes would be my suggestion.

I got a 14" (med) pizza and some garlic knots.
Pizza was half Angry bee (red sauce, pepperoni, goat cheese, and hot honey) and white oak (Alfredo sauce, chicken, bacon, tomato, and spinach).
The Angry bee had a great flurry of flavor from the subtle goat cheese and hot honey. It was not overwhelming but really delicious. The white oak is with Alfredo was right up my alley and had a great taste. The hand tossed dough was cooked perfectly and had a crispy and fresh taste. 10/10 for each one.
The garlic knots were also very fresh with butter, mozzarella, and some awesome red sauce. Also got some ranch and happy to report it's was not Great Value. Tasted homemade.
The owner was there and very kind and receptive to my pizza questions.
The place seems like a hot spot for pickup but I ate inside. Kudos to all the classic rock playlists ?.
Definitely worth going. For sure going to be a regular spot for me to get my pizza fix.

This is OKC place does Detroit style pizza good. It's so, so good. Chill atmosphere with a nice not in a hurry vibe. Love it!

Update: tried the hand tossed tonight and it's very good too.

Real deal Detroit style pizza (authentic brick cheese and crispy edges with sauce on top), and it was fabulous! I had the Detroit Angry Bee based on the owners recommendation and i was happy I started with that one. We tried it because they have plenty of gluten-free options for my wife. She said the GF crust was excellent. We also had a GF brownie which was outstanding. Bonuses: they are locally and veteran owned and they give back to some good causes! We will definitely be back to try more menu items.

This is seriously some of THE best gluten free pizza I have had...do not sleep on the Detroit style. The cheese bread (to die for) and the Caesar salad is big enough for 2. I wish I had pics to share but I always get too excited and eat it all before thinking of a pic!❤️

First time trying Oak City Pizza at the Deer Creek location. Friends had ordered to go and by the time we started eating the crust was flimsy and soggy. That being said the taste was pretty good. The Angry Bee has a nice mix of sweet and savory, but I wish it had more heat to the spice. The White Oak has a great Alfredo sauce that is creamy and not overpowering. Not sure it is up to par with my favorites, but it was a tasty dinner.

I’ve been several times they keep burning my pizza. Today they left the balsamic glaze off and it just isn’t nearly as good - my only option was to drive 30 mins back for a container of glaze 🙁 great food if they get it together and get better customer service.

Our favorite pizza place by far. The Detroit style pizza is phenomenal and the brick oven style is delicious. Tell Matt I sent you. He won't give you a buddy deal but he will give you a hard time about it. ?
