It felt like I went back in time to where things were simple and good. No fuss or fancy, just good quality food at a fair price.

The steak was spot on both in seasoning and temp. The fixins were just right.

I'm glad I chose here and not the fancy steak house. This place brings back great memories of how our country used to be.

What an absolute GEM of a Steakhouse

I loved the Old Timey Log Cabin Decor and the cool dark setting

Steak was perfectly cooked and I was surprised by how tasty and juicy the fried zucchini was …. Dipped in ranch dressing of course… DUH

They steak was to die for. I ordered the 10oz filet medium rare with sautéd mushrooms and Cajun butter. It was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. The mushrooms alone were amazing. I will definitely be back!!!

Found this place on google while traveling from DFW to Oklahoma and thought we give it a try. The steak had good flavor as well as the quail. Onion rings seemed homemade and were yummy. Salad and dressing really could be worked on. Our table waitress was very nice. But when we arrived (we’re not “from here” aka “out of town”). We were treated like some strange aliens by the staff up front. The hostess seemed like she did not want us there at all, in fact didn’t speak to us other than “how many” after we finally got her attention standing in an almost empty restaurant with our family. Nor were the people in the restaurant polite. Got side eyed a lot and someone even made a comment to my face. Felt very tense and strange the whole time there and actually felt uncomfortable to even speak quietly to each other. Had we not gotten food already, we would’ve left.

I ordered a grilled salmon filet with grilled asparagus. Both the fish and vegetables were sopping wet with grease. It was like bacon grease was poured over it before it was served. Which I’m sure some people would enjoy, it just shouldn’t be advertised as grilled.

Clearly it’s a STEAK house for a reason. Get the steak!!!

The bussers had a bucket for dirty dishes that smelled of VOMIT. it was putrid. They left it in the dining area for about five minutes while they went and socialized with the host stand. It was very unappetizing.

All of the staff we encountered were beyond helpful and friendly.

This restaurant was pretty good. The food was excellent and the waitress was super friendly. However, the greeters at the door acted like they couldn’t be bothered. Both when we entered and left, they could have cared less. The atmosphere seemed really dusty and outdated. It was the food that saved the place. The ribs were perfect and fell right off the bone. If you just want to get some decent BBQ and don’t care about atmosphere or service, this is your place.
